EMNI am currently an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As a U.S. historian I specialize in the North American West, women’s history, and Native and Indigenous studies. My current scholarship takes into consideration the conflicted history of regional identity, cultural exploitation, and the development of the tourism industry in the western United States. Since 2011 I developed over a dozen undergraduate and graduate courses on gender studies, women’s history, Native American history, modern America, and the U.S. West.
